UK Games Expo is just around the corner and the Coiledspring team are excited to be back for a weekend of brilliant board gaming! From the 2nd – 4th June we will be at the NEC ready to demo some great games and welcome friendly faces to the stand.
We have ‘sum’ surprises including preview games and plenty of promo items to get your hands on.
A Game of GIANT Proportions
We all love board games, yet somehow GIANT versions are so much better! This year, giant King of Tokyo returns to the Coiledspring Stand. Play with life sized monsters, oversized dice and jumbo cards in a bid to be the ultimate King of Tokyo! Plus, you can snap a photo with the giant British monster, Cy-Gull!
UKGE Exclusive Board Games
We are delighted to have FOUR brand new, exclusive games to try! Pyramido by Synapses Games has you adventuring to Egypt to build the most impressive Pyramid possible!
We are ‘forbidden’ to tell you the names of the other games until the weekend of Expo, but we will have a dedicated jungle themed demo space just for them. Pop along to stand 2 – 720 to join the adventure.
Tournaments
Do you think you are the KING of Tokyo or an unrivalled, Unmatched legend? There are two tournaments for these great games running over the weekend. The fight for Tokyo will take place on Sunday morning, and there are several Unmatched battles throughout Saturday and Sunday. You can sign up here to take part:
Awards
We are delighted to have a selection of shortlisted and award winners in the UKGE awards 2023!
New Eden from Schmidt picked up the Best Board Game (Strategic) Judges Choice Award and Next Station London claimed the Best Family Game Judges Choice Award. Both of these fantastic games will be on the Coiledspring stand to try out.
