We hope everyone had a fantastic time at Tabletop Gaming Live, we sure did! It was great to see so many familiar and new faces for a weekend of games, tournaments and laughs!
We loved having IELLO with us, demoing titles such as Little Town, Double Rumble and Ninja Academy. Also, on their stand was Ishtar – Gardens of Babylon. Due for an Essen release, gamers were able to get a sneak-peek! One lucky winner also took home a signed copy of the game – signed by Bruno Cathala himself!
Our stand was very busy all weekend, with a mix of new releases and classic games. We demoed Hub Games’ MegaCity Oceania for the first time, and it was a huge hit. The strategical construction game proved to be very popular with everyone that visited our stand, with many people disappointed we weren’t selling the demo version! Another popular demo was Bloom from Gamewright, the roll and write that sees you running a florist. You’re trying to fulfill customers’ orders based on dice rolls – but watch out for unhappy customers! Other popular titles were Magic Labyrinth, Zombie Kidz and of course, The Mind. Many codes were intercepted in giant Decrypto and lots of Qwirkles were scored over the weekend… lots of happy gamers!
Across the weekend we ran a Kingdomino and King of Tokyo Tournament that saw contestants battle it out for top spot. For those that missed the tournaments, we had a giant version of King of Tokyo for all to try. Who doesn’t love giant sized monsters?!
Looking forward, we’re very excited to be demoing at EGX 2019, ExCeL London, from the 17th-20th October. We’ll be taking Taverns of Tiefenthal on its first outing, as well as classics such as Photosynthesis and Cockroach Poker. We hope to see as many of you there as possible!
