We hope that everyone is following the Government’s guidelines by staying home and staying safe.
Last week we started the #PostWhatYouPlay Challenge across Instagram and Twitter. We challenged our followers to post what they have been playing whilst staying at home and then challenging their friends and passing on the challenge.
From Monday to Sunday last week we posted 7 games with the hashtag and challenged some friends of CSG to then do the same and pass on the challenge. Across these 7 days we posted some of our staff’s favourite games:
Day 1 saw Roger choose Kingdomino! Roger usually fits in a game a night and keeps coming back to Kingdomino as it works well with 2, 3 or 4 players. It also has the Age of Giants expansion and for something a bit meatier, Queendomino. His family have even managed to it virtually, both ends needed to have a copy, but it was a lot of fun!
Lena chose Sushi Roll on the 2nd day. She loves how cute the dice are, and the additions of swaps and refills made Sushi Roll a favourite to bring to the table!
Day 3 saw Joel choose The Mind. Joel loves this completely unique game that always finds its way to the table. The telepathic element is something he hasn’t quite mastered but something he is definitely working on!
Ishtar was chosen by Sharon on the Day 4. Sharon loves how beautiful the game is. She enjoys the mechanics of planting flowers and gathering gems, it’s a nice tile placement game with 4 easy actions!
On Day 5 Kerrie chose Anomia. Anomia never fails to be played in Kerrie’s household. The game of quick reactions and many laughs should be a staple for any family!
Day 6 saw Gemma choose Ganz Schon Clever. It’s well known in the CSG office that Gemma is a huge fan. Rumour is, she practices solo to maintain her unbeaten streak…
And finally, on day 7 Damian chose Stay Cool. Damian enjoys Scorpion Masque’s party game as it’s an easy to play, fun sociable game and good for the brain to try and keep it focused.
So far, we have had an overwhelming response from everyone who has been challenged. It’s been great to see what everyone has been getting up to, from games in our range, to playing games over skype and even video games! You can check out the hashtag below:
If you’d like to get involved in the challenge, just post what you have been playing, use the hashtag #PostWhatYouPlay and tag a few friends to challenge them to do the same!
