Ice Team

£21.99

The great annual polar bear race is about to begin! Try to collect as many fish as possible along the way before you cross the finish line. If you delay your race you might not finish first, but you might find extra fish.

May the best team win!

What’s in the box?

  • One start board
  • One finish board (the Village)
  • Four course boards
  • 24 sea ice tiles
  • Eight igloo tiles
  • Eight bear miniatures
  • 30 double-sided fish tokens
  • Two dice

How to play:

Being the first to course the finish line with all your bears will give you an advantage but taking some time to search the igloos along the way is a great way to collect extra fish!

Each turn, you’ll take 2 actions (except on the first turn for the first player, they only get 1 action!)

Taking an action means:

  • Move one of your bears
  • Applying the effect of the landing tile

You can move your bear in one of three ways, including ‘leapbearing’ – it’s like leapfrogging but for bears!

Penguins are your friends – if you land on a tile with a penguin, they can freeze some of your fresh fish to prevent our opponent from stealing them.

The game ends when one of you crosses the finish line with your 4th bear. That bear completes all the actions. Count your fish (fresh and frozen) – the player with the most fish wins!

Jurassic Brunch

£25.99

It’s brunch time – prehistoric style! You’re a herd of hungry Triceratops vying for the tastiest leaves. But beware of the terrifying raptor who is also on the hunt too!

What’s in the box?

  • Four boards
  • 10 triceratops figurines (five blue and five orange)
  • One raptor figurine
  • 28 grass tokens

How to play:

Players battle it out as two brightly-coloured herds of triceratops on the quest to devour the most leaves in the prehistoric fields, whilst avoiding the prowling hungry raptor…

The possible actions a player can take on their turn ARE:

  • Move one of their herd – move a triceratops in a straight line (up and down, not diagonally) until it is blocked by either: another triceratops, the raptor, the edge of the playing area or a patch of grass – in this case the triceratops eats it. The grass token is turned over to reveal an effect, which could be beneficial to you, or send your Triceratops to sleep…
  • Charge at an opponent – move your triceratops up or down until you meet a rival herd member. Your triceratops takes their place and the rival moves to another empty space of your opponent’s choosing.
  • Wake up a herd member – return your triceratops back to their feet and awake them from their food-induced slumber.
  • Move the raptor – the raptor can move in ALL directions (up, down and diagonally) until it is met by: a patch of grass, the edge of the playing area or a Triceratops – in this case the raptor scares the triceratops away back to the player.

The game ends when:

  • One of the players no longer has any triceratops on the playing area – they automatically lose
  • There are no more grass tokens on the playing area
  • Over two consecutive turns neither player has managed to eat any grass or make an opposing team member’s triceratops flee

Players count how much grass has been eaten – the player with the most wins!

Jurassic Snack

£25.99

To eat or to be eaten – that is the question!

Young Diplodocuses are fond of the tasty leaves offered by the neighbouring pastures. But watch out for the ferocious T.Rex who will scare away your Diplos! Your goal is to eat as much grass as possible.

What’s in the box?

  • Four pasture boards (3×3 squares)
  • 10 Diplo miniatures (5 blue, 5 yellow)
  • Two T.Rex miniatures
  • 28 grass tokens

How to play:

The blue player plays first. As the starting player you perform only one action. After this, you’ll take turns and perform two actions each.

The two actions you can perform are:

  • Moving one of your Diplos
  • Moving a T.Rex

A Diplo has one single goal: eating grass tokens. If you land on a grass token, your Diplo eats it and then you apply the effect.

The T. Rex just wants to scare the Diplos away!

The game ends immediately when one of the three following conditions is fulfilled:

  • One of the players has no Diplo left in the playing area. In this case, the player loses the game, and the amount of grass eaten by each player’s Diplos is not taken into account.
  • There are no more grass tokens in the playing area
  •  During two turns in a row, NO player has taken a grass token or scared away one of his opponent’s Diplos out of the playing area.

In the last two cases, each player reveals all the grass tokens that have been eaten, the player with the highest score wins the game!

Mosquito Show

£25.99

In the jungle, the mighty jungle, a chameleon and a toucan are in search of a tasty mosquito buffet. Be on the lookout for the prized golden mosquitoes to win the game!

What’s in the box?

  • One foldable board
  • Four miniatures
  • 27 double-sided tokens

How to play:

There are two phases to a player turn:

  • Placement phase – the two players simply place their two animals on the board.
  • Movement phase – players take turns and must move ONLY ONE of their two animals. They may move the same animal several turns in a row, or alternate.

In order to move, an animal MUST eat a mosquito. If an animal cannot eat a mosquito, it is blocked and cannot move.

Both the chameleon and the toucan move on the board in unique ways, which have their own advantages and disadvantages to the player.

All mosquitoes have special effects to help or hinder the player’s progress in the game.

The game can end in two different ways:

  • A player eats their 9th golden mosquito: it’s an instant victory!
  • On their turn, a player cannot move any of their animals: it’s an instant loss…

Bonus!

Mosquito Show comes with four cute figurines, bringing the game to life! Created by Bruno Cathala, who also brought us the award-winning, Kingdomino.
