How to play:

Take the eight evolution cards belonging to your monster, shuffle them, and make a draw pile. After the resolve dice phase, if you have rolled at least 3 hearts, you draw two Evolution cards, keeping one in their hand without showing it and discarding the other. Keep your evolutions in hand until you decide to play them, which can even be during another player’s turn if the card’s effect doesn’t specify when to play it.

There are two types of Evolution:

  • Temporary: discard them after use.
  • Permanent: Play them face up in front of you. You benefit from their effect as long as they’re in play.

Each evolution card shows:

  • The name of the monster it belongs to.
  • The type of evolution.

How to play:

How to play:

  3. Enter Tokyo: If no one is in Tokyo, you must enter and place your monster in Tokyo.
  4. Buy Power Cards: You may buy one or more of the three face-up cards in the marketplace given you have the correct amount of energy points.

Wickedness Points

In addition to Victory Points, numbered faces on the dice gain you wickedness points. When you gain wickedness points, move your counter up the wickedness gauge. If your counter moves onto or beyond the 2, 5 or 10 space, you take a tile of your choice from the tiles available at that level of Wickedness. Place the tile in front of you, the power is now active.

The game ends when a monster reaches 20 victory points or if only one monster remains in the game, that Monster is crowned the King of Tokyo!

How to play:

Kraken Attack is a cooperative game all about coordinating your actions to defend your ship against attacks from all sides: both port and starboard, from bow to stern!

Your turn consists of two phases:

Move the tentacles

Roll all of the available dice. The red dice move red tentacles, and the purple dice move purple tentacles. If the tentacle is activated in the saber zone then it attacks the ship!

Play an action card

It’s your turn to attack! Choose one of the face-up action cards in front of you to help push back the tentacles. You could fire a canon or repair the ship. Or maybe attack with your saber!

If you are told to make a silly face, this makes the Kraken mad it moves closer to the ship! When you succeed in pushing the Kraken back, you’ll gain a token.

The game can end in one of the following two ways:

  • A Pirate places the 3rd Kraken attack token on the Kraken figurine. The Kraken has learned its lesson and returns to the depths of the ocean. You win the game immediately!
  • The fourth hole token is placed on the ship. Disaster! Your ship sinks, and you find yourselves stranded on a deserted island! You lose the game immediately.

How to play:

The game is played in 2 steps:

Recruit Adventurers

You have 5 cards in your hand. Choose 1 that you want to keep and place it face-down on your longship. Pass your other cards, face-down, to the player to your left and pick up the cards that the player to your right has just passed to you. Repeat these steps till you have 5 adventurers.

Gold Rush

Phase 1: Raid the Chests – pick up the 5 cards you placed on your longship. Take a look at the Treasure Chests on the beach and choose the Adventurer card you want to play. When you are all ready, let out your best battle cries and places your card face-down next to the chest pile of your choice.

Phase 2: Divide up the loot – once the raid on the chests is finished, you need to divide up the loot. Turn all of the Adventurer cards on the beach face up.

Repeat these phases until you’ve looted with all of your adventurers. Count up all your gold – if you have the most you are the winner!

How it plays:

Once the kid has been placed on an empty seat, turn the carousel (it must complete at least one full turn). Don’t lose sight of your kid!

There are two different zones surrounding the carousel, they show the weather. Depending on which zone your kid token lands in, complete the following actions:

  • Rain zone – place a raindrop on one of the corresponding spaces on the game board.
  • Sun zone – choose a sunbeam fragment and place it immediately on one of the corresponding spaces on the game board.

The game can end in one of two ways:

  • If all of the kids are on the carousel and the rain zone is incomplete, congratulations! All of the kids had a great day and you won the game!
  • If at the end of a player’s turn all of the raindrops have been placed on the game board and there are empty seats on the carousel. It’s just too rainy and the ride has to close for the day. You have lost this game.

  • If the card offered is a Creature card, you must say out loud the number of the card without lying.
  • If the card offered is a Charon card, you can (and should) lie by saying out loud any number you wish.

The player who gets the card has 3 choices:

  • To accept the card and place face up in front of them.
  • To refuse the card and pass it back.
  • To add a from their hand, face down, and passes the two cards to another player.

As soon as a player turns the cards face up in front of them, it ends the round. The Creature cards in front of you face up bring you closer to victory. Add their value to the ones you won before.

The game may end 3 ways:

  • A player reaches or exceeds the number of points required becomes the chosen one!
  • If players are eliminated as they have 3 Charons, the last one standing wins the game.
  • When a total number of 9 Charon cards are face-up on the table, the game ends. the player who has the higher number of points wins the game.

How to play:

Each game of Ninja Academy is divided into a series of alternating trials that play as follows:

Collective Trial: Draw the first Collective Trial Card, show the picture to the other players, then read aloud the text at the back of the card. All players should take part in this Trial. The winner of the Trial gains 3 Victory Coins.

Duel Trials: Draw the first Duel Trial Card, shows the picture to the other players, then read aloud the text at the back of the card. Players who do not take part in the Trial are called bystanders – they must now choose their favourite. To mark their choice, they place their Tatami in front of the player that is going to win the Trial (according to them). Players that have been summoned for the Duel should take part in the Trial as per the rules. The winner of the Trial gains 2 Victory Coins. Each player that bet on the winner gains 1 Victory Coin.

After the third Collective Trial, the game ends. The player with the most Victory Coins receives the highest grade and wins the game.

They are also declared a Ninjutsu Master – and that’s something. The players who scored at least 10 points can still be proud – they also graduate!

How to play:

Claiming a stone: After playing a card on a stone and before drawing, you can claim one or several stones. You can only claim a stone after each player has played three cards on their side of the border. To claim a stone, you must have a stronger combination of cards than those played by your opponent. These combinations, from the strongest to the weakest, are described as follows:

  • Colour run: three cards of the same colour and of three successive strengths
  • Three of a kind: three cards of the same strength
  • Colour: three cards of the same colour
  • Run: three cards of successive strength and of any colour
  • Sum: any three cards

To win, you either need to control three adjacent stones or five stones scattered along the Border!

How to play:

You’re working to get all the dinosaur to safety, but you must collect all the eggs along the way!. On your turn, you complete three phases:

  • Draw a random tile from the bag
  • Place the tile on the gameboard

If you drew a lava tile, extend the lava flow that has flowers in the same colour. Lava tiles must be placed on an empty space, never on another tile, lake, or obstacle.

If you draw a meteorite tile, put it on the space with the same symbol as the tile you drew. If a dino is on this space, the dino is eliminated from the game.

  • Take the action on the tile

The tile will either tell you to move one or more dinos or to immediately draw another tile.

The game ends in one of three different ways:

  • The last dino on the board climbs a mountain.
  • The last dino on the board is eliminated by lava or meteorites.
  • There are no more danger tiles in the bag.

Count up how many points you have – each dino saved is worth 2 points, and each egg is worth 1. If you score 14 points , it means you means you have successfully saved all the Dinos!
