12 Gangsters Blue Orange Board Game12 Gangsters Blue Orange Board Game

12 Gangsters

Your 12 gangsters must participate in 12 heists in order to prove themselves to the Boss.

Your gangster cannot steal more money than the Boss! It is up to you to send out the right gangster at the right time. The more money your gangsters collect, the happier the Boss will be…

What’s in the box?

  • Boss token
  • 72 gangster cards

How to play:

All the players, including the Boss, choose a gangster to play from those in their hand. Players then reveal their chosen gangsters by placing their cards down on the table, face up, at the same time. All the gangsters are compared with the gangster chosen by the Boss. Three outcomes are possible:

  • Your gangster has chosen to steal less than the Boss’ and so the heist is successful. Place your gangster card face up in front of you.
  • Your gangster wants to steal more than the Boss’, they are stopped. Place your gangster card face down in front of you.
  • Your gangster wants to steal the same amount as the Boss’ gangster and is successful. Place your gangster card face up in front of you. Consequently, the Boss’ gangster doesn’t manage to steal any money. The Boss must place their gangster face down in front of them.

The gangsters chosen by the Boss always manage to steal money EXCEPT when another player’s gangster tries to steal the same amount. The Boss token is passed to the next player in a clockwise direction and the next round starts.

The game ends at the end of the 12th round (or 10th for 5 players) when all your gangsters have participated in a heist. Add together the total money won from your heists (all face up cards): the player with the most money wins!

Abandon All Artichokes

A heartless card game!

This isn’t your garden-variety card game! A bumper-crop of prickly produce has overtaken your patch, and there’s only one choice: abandon all artichokes!

Prune your deck by harvesting fresh vegetables, each with a special power that lets you swap, discard, or compost cards. You’ll need luck, strategy, and a green thumb to grow a winning hand!

What’s in the box?

  • 100 cards

How to play:

Abandon All Artichokes is a fast-paced “deck-wrecking” card game. On your turn, carry out the following actions:

  1. Replenish the garden row by revealing cards from the top of the garden stack until there are 5 cards.
  2. Harvest 1 of the face-up cards from the garden row into your hand. This card may be played at any point during your turn.
  3. Play any number of cards from your hand. To play a card, place it in front of you and resolve its actions. Once the card has been resolved, place it face-up on top of your personal discard pile.
  4. Discard all unplayed (or unplayable) cards in your hand face-up to the top of your discard pile.
  5. Draw 5 cards from the top of your deck to refill your hand.

When you refill your hand at the end of your turn, if none of the cards are Artichokes, you immediately win the game!

beasty barbeasty bar

Beasty Bar

The animals are suited and booted and ready to party, but who will make it through the door? Every animal has its own unique powers to manipulate the queue order. The party is over if you’re back of the line!

What’s in the box?

  • 52 cards

How to play:

Each player shuffles the 12 animals in their card colour and takes 4 of them in their hand. The 8 remaining animals – without looking at them – are placed as a face-down draw pile.

Place the heaven‘s gate card and the exclusion card in the middle of the table. Between them, leave room for five animal cards. This space is called the jostling area. Put the Beasty Bar card and the “That’s it!” card a slight distance from the jostling area.

On your turn, perform the following five actions:

  • Play a card: choose one animal card from your hand and place it face up at the end of the line in the jostling area.
  • Execute the animal action of the played card: now execute the action of the animal you just played, which is displayed on the card, if possible.
  • Carry out “reoccuring” animal actions: if the card has the reoccurring action symbol on it, carry the action out again.
  • Open heaven‘s gate and enforce the exclusion: after carrying out all recurring animal actions, you now check whether the waiting line consists of 5 animals. If there are less than 5 animals in line, nothing happens. If it does, then the first 2 animals can go through the gate and the last one in line is excluded and placed on the “That’s it!” card. The animals remaining in the jostling area are shoved toward heaven‘s gate.
  • Draw another card.

The game ends as soon as all players have completely played out their animal cards. The player who has the most guests (their own animals) in the Beasty Bar wins!

Blank Card Game

The fast, fun card game that changes as you play – and you make the changes!

With each new game, you will customise cards and develop new rules, making your copy of Blank totally unique. The first to discard all their cards wins the game, and that winner gets to create a new rule!

What’s in the box?

  • 72 game effect cards
  • 38 rule cards

How to play:

Taking turns and starting clockwise, each player must play at least one card from their hand onto the discard pile. The card(s) you play must either match the colour or the number of the card on top of the discard pile.

When you play your card(s), apply the card effect shown on the top card (if it has one). After all the effects triggered by the card(s) you have played, your turn ends.

Rule cards affect how each game works. There are always three in play at the start of the game and can change throughout.

A penalty requires you to draw a card. Penalties can occur in a number of ways:

  • You play a card out of turn.
  • You falsely accuse another player of making a mistake.
  • You fail to follow a rule card or game effect card.
  • You play more than one card that doesn’t share the same colour or number

The winner is the first to get rid of all their cards. They then choose whether to create a new rule card or customise a game card, making their mark on this copy of Blank forever!

Rule examples (the possibilities are endless!):

If you play two or more cards in a turn, then name a card colour which may not be played until your next turn.

If a player takes more than 5 seconds to play a card, then all other players may discard a card from their hand.

If during setup this card is revealed, then all players must take a penalty card apart from the starting player.

As you play, you will create new rules and card effects, making your copy of Blank totally unique!

Captain Bluff Helvetiq Card Game

Captain Bluff

Unhappy in his job, a baggage handler has been caught messing up with luggage, sending it to every destination but the right one!

Now it’s your turn! Open new conveyor belts, swap round departure cities, and get rid of your luggage quickly. But be careful as your colleagues also want to leave early and can call you out if they realise you are getting rid of luggage on the wrong conveyor belt!

What’s in the box?

  • Six conveyor belt cards
  • 51 luggage cards
  • 14 special airport cards

How to play:

On your turn, complete the following five actions in order:

  1. Place luggage on a conveyor belt: place one or more pieces of luggage on a conveyor belt face up. Luggage must be placed in ascending or descending order. All luggage must come from the same departure city.
  2. Define a departure city: place a card above a conveyor belt, face down. You can choose to place a Luggage card or an Airport special card
  3. Check a departure city: secretly look at one of the cards lying face down above a conveyor belt.
  4. Change a departure city: secretly look at one of the cards lying face down above a conveyor belt.
  5. Close a conveyor belt: remove all cards from a conveyor belt. These cards are then discarded face down, and the departure city card is not revealed.

At any time, even when it is not their turn, players can pick up one or more pieces of luggage from the table. The recovered luggage goes into the player’s hand and they can then place it back on a conveyor belt when it is their turn.

The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the game.

Cheating Moth Card GameCheating Moth Card Game

Cheating Moth

Is cheating wrong? Not in this cheeky card game – in fact, you have to cheat to win!

You can drop them on the floor, hide them up your sleeve or wherever you can. But be careful, you’ll be in big trouble if the Guard Bug catches you!

What’s in the box?

  • 72 playing cards

How to play:

The player with the Guard Bug begins. When it’s your turn, place one of the cards in your hand on the discard pile. The card from your hand must be one number higher or lower than the card at the top of the discard pile. You haven’t got a card in your hand that fits? Then draw a card from the draw pile. It is then the next players turn.

Cheating: you can shrewdly make individual cards disappear by, for example, dropping them under the table, throwing them over your shoulder or hiding them up your sleeve…

Guard Bug: you join in the game and keep a close eye on the other players. They will all try to make cards disappear secretly. As the Guard Bug, you are not allowed to cheat. If you catch another player in the act, you call out loud: “Caught!”. If a player is caught:

  • If correctly accused, the player adds the card back to their hand and is given a card by the Guard Bug.
  • If incorrectly accused, then the Guard Bug must take a card from the draw pile.

Each card has an action that must be resolved when played. The round ends when a player has no cards left. You play as many rounds as there are players. Have the fewest minus points at the end of the game to win!

Cockroach Poker Card GameCockroach Poker Card Game

Cockroach Poker

Can you keep a poker face and bluff your way to victory? Stink bugs, toads and rats are just some of the creatures in this bug-rilliant game.

As soon as a player has four of a kind, or when a player no cards left to pass, they lose – and everyone else wins!

What’s in the box?

  • 64 cards

How to play:

On your turn, you pick a card from your hand. Lay it face down on the table, slide it over to another player of your choice and state what it is, e.g. Cockroach.

The player you slid the card over to now has two options:

  • Accept it: before picking it up, say loudly ‘true’ or ‘false’. If the player is correct, the card is passed back to you, if the player is wrong, they have to take the card themselves.
  • Pass it: the player decides to not accept the card but pass it on. In this case, the player can peek at the card before sliding it onto another player. In addition to this, the player must confirm your statement of Cockroach, or make a new claim, e.g. Stink Bug. A card can be passed on multiple times, with each player being able to either accept it or pass it, until it has reached the last player, who must accept it.

The game can end in two ways:

  • When a player gets ‘four-of-a-kind’, four cards with the same creature, e.g. four cockroaches, palmed off on him. This player has lost. The other players share in the victory.
  • As soon as a player with no more cards in his hand has to start a round. This player cannot offer a card and has lost. All other players share the victory here as well.

Perfect travel sized game for on the going gaming. Plus there is a two player variant!

Forest card gameForest components card game

The magical game for the whole family.

Form infinite landscapes using whimsical cards. Be the first to spot seven identical creatures and collect them. Collect the most cards to win!

What’s in the box?

  • 60 playing cards

On your turn, play a card and refill your hand. Each card represents a piece of the forest with its trunks, leaves and fairy characters.

  • Cards showing tree trunks are placed vertically next to each other on the table.
  • Cards showing leaves are placed horizontally on top of trunks.

If placing your card adds a seventh fairy creature of the same type, call it out loud. You will win all the cards with this fairy creature on it. Regroup the remaining cards and leave them all visible on the table.

Forest ends when the draw pile is empty and when the players have no more cards to play. The remaining cards on the table go to the last player having collected cards with seven creatures. The player with the most cards at the end wins the game!

Get Lit!

Benny Burns likes it really loud. Only if you have a big blast at the annual pyromaniac competition can you get a look at Benny‘s legendary collection of safes. Only those who set off the bombs with the longest fuses stand a chance of winning. So it‘s not a surprise that all the crooks try to control the big bang to their own end.

Get ready for a blast – the fuse is lit!

What’s in the box?

  • 110 cards

How to play:

Secure the highest-value fuse cards by setting off two bombs at the right moment. You can use water cards to water down the other players chances of creating a big bang!

Shuffle the fuse cards and deal out four of them to each player. Take these cards into your hand, along with one water card. Shuffle the remaining fuse and water cards together. Use (approximately) 25 of these cards to form a small face-down card stack.

Now shuffle the cutting card into this small card stack. After that, put all remaining cards on top, thus forming the face-down draw pile.

On your turn, you either: play one card from your hand, or set off a bomb.

Play either a fuse card to continue growing the length of the fuse or a water card to extinguish it.

The game ends immediately as soon as the fuse cutting card is taken from the draw pile or all players have set off two bombs.

Add up the values of all the face-up cards of your bomb piles. The face-down card on top of each pile (the one that set off the bomb) is not included in the count! Subtract the values of your hand cards from this total.

If you have the highest total, you have created the loudest bang and have won the game!

Five items sit on the table waiting to be caught… who will be the first to match their card with the item on the table? Seeing is boo-lieving in this spook-tacular game of speed!

What’s in the box?

  • Five game pieces
  • 60 cards

How to play:

Place the 5 game pieces in a circle. Shuffle the cards and place them in a face-down deck where everyone can see them.

Each round, one player is chosen to flip a card. As fast as they can, they flip the top card from the deck so everyone can see the illustration.

Each card shows an illustration of two objects from the five objects in the game. Players are looking for one of two things:

  • Players should determine if one of the objects on the card are coloured correctly. If so, players as fast as they can try to grab the correctly coloured object.
  • If both objects on the card are mis-coloured, players then try as fast as they can to grab the object which isn’t represented on the card in either form or colour.

The player who first grabs the correct object takes the card into their reward pile.

Any player who grabs an incorrect piece, must give the player who grabbed the correct piece, one of

their cards from their reward pile (if they have any). You can only grab one item per round.

All pieces are then returned back to the centre of the table for the next round.

The game ends when all the cards in the deck have been taken. The player with the most cards in their reward pile is the winner!

Go Nuts For Donuts Card GameGo Nuts For Donuts Components Card Game

Go Nuts for Donuts

Time to take the donuts!

Will you go for a stellar cruller or grab a glorious glazed? A double chocolate is sure to score, but in the long run Boston Cream may be worth more! Choose carefully – if two or more players go for the same donut, nobody gets it!

What’s in the box?

  • 70 donuts cards
  • 42 player cards
  • 7 donut row markers

How to play:

A game takes place over several rounds. To start a round, each player secretly picks which card they want from the donut row by taking a selection card from their hand and placing it face down in front of them. The numbers on your selection cards represent the position of the card in the row.

Once each player has a selection card face down in front of them, everyone simultaneously reveals it. Then, starting with the lowest selection number and counting up, players look to see if they get to take the card:

  • If two or more players picked the same card, no one gets it! Immediately discard that card to the discard pile.
  • If you are the only player to pick a card, take it from the donut row and place it face up in front of you.

If a card has a star at the corners of its description border, that means it has a special power that must be activated immediately when it is taken from the donut row.

When all of the selected cards have been taken (and all powers have been resolved), refill the empty spaces in numerical order with cards from the donut deck. All players should take back their selection cards into their hands and begin a new round, which plays out just like the previous one.

The game ends when there are not enough donuts in the donut deck to fully replenish the donut row. At that point, each player counts up their points and the player with the highest total is the winner!
