SOS Dino Childrens Board Game

SOS Dino

£29.99

The four volcanoes which were peacefully laying dormant have just erupted! Help Marie, Freddy, Nessie and Louis reach safety! Avoid the lava flows and meteorites, collect the eggs and seek shelter in the mountains.

A cooperative adventure for the whole family.

What’s in the box?

  • Four dinosaur figurines
  • One game board
  • Four volcanoes
  • Four mountains
  • Nine obstacles
  • 58 danger tiles
  • Six dino egg tokens
  • One big fabric bag

How to play:

You’re working to get all the dinosaur to safety, but you must collect all the eggs along the way!. On your turn, you complete three phases:

  • Draw a random tile from the bag
  • Place the tile on the gameboard

If you drew a lava tile, extend the lava flow that has flowers in the same colour. Lava tiles must be placed on an empty space, never on another tile, lake, or obstacle.

If you draw a meteorite tile, put it on the space with the same symbol as the tile you drew. If a dino is on this space, the dino is eliminated from the game.

  • Take the action on the tile

The tile will either tell you to move one or more dinos or to immediately draw another tile.

The game ends in one of three different ways:

  • The last dino on the board climbs a mountain.
  • The last dino on the board is eliminated by lava or meteorites.
  • There are no more danger tiles in the bag.

Count up how many points you have – each dino saved is worth 2 points, and each egg is worth 1. If you score 14 points , it means you means you have successfully saved all the Dinos!

Bonus!

SOS Dino is part of the LOKI range, created by IELLO. This range of games is aimed specifically at children.

You can play this solo! SOS Dino reinforces cooperative and decision-making skills.

Sushi Roll Family Board Game

Sushi Roll

£24.99

Rice and dice! Roll with your favourite Sushi Go! characters in Sushi Roll, a dice-based version of the best-selling card game!

Load up the conveyor belts with savoury sushi dice – then pick one and pass the rest! Earn points for winning combos like two tempura or a set of sashimi. Grab a menu to re-roll your dice or use chopsticks to swap with an opponent. And be sure to save room for pudding at the end!

What’s in the box?

  • 40 scoring tokens
  • 30 dice
  • 20 pudding tokens
  • 18 menu tokens
  • 12 chopsticks tokens
  • Five conveyor belts
  • Five scoring trays
  • 1 dice bag

How to play:

To start a round, you all pick up your dice and roll them at the same time. The number of players and number of dice always adds up to 10 – handy tip! So if you’re a 3 player game, you need 7 dice each.

Once rolled, place all your dice on your conveyor belt without changing the faces. The player with the red conveyor belt gets to go first!

On your turn, perform the following two steps in order:

  1. Use any number of menu (re-roll) or chopstick (swap) tokens [optional]
  2. Choose one die to keep from the conveyor belt in front of you [mandatory]

Once everyone has taken a turn, slide your conveyor belts (and the dice on them) to the player on your left. Re-roll and go again! Once all the dice have been used, it’s time to score.

Your scoring pad shows you what sets score what points. Collect the correct number of scoring tokens and place all dice back in the bag. Draw new dice for the start of the new round. Pudding still scores big! So make sure to leave room.

At the end of the third round, it’s time for the final scoring! Whoever has the most points wins.

Bonus!
Sushi Roll reinforces visual discrimination and strategic thinking.
